Nyawëh sgënö’! my name is Alex Jimerson, I’m Hodinöšönih belonging to the Wolf Clan of the Seneca Nation / Onödowa’ga:’ | I was raised on the Allegany and Cattaraugus Territories. I hold a B.S. in Public Health from Syracuse University and an M.A. in Food Studies from New York University. But, more importantly, in 2022, I completed the Deadiwënöhsnye’s Gëjóhgwa’ (Adult Seneca Language Immersion Program). I continue to work at Deadiwënöhsnye’s Gëjóhgwa’ as an Archivist. Where I document and organize language resources to be utilized for an Onöndowa’ga:’ language database.
